Lisa Marie Barron is our candidate!

Congratulations to Lisa Marie Barron on her win to represent the federal NDP in Nanaimo-Ladysmith. With Lisa, we can take this seat back and send a strong team of New Democrats to Ottawa to fight for us!

When asked about her win, Lisa had the following to say:

“I am honoured and thrilled to have been selected by the members as this riding’s NDP candidate. I want to thank the other contestants for their hard work and dedication to the party. We are fortunate to have had four amazing contestants. I want to thank everyone who supported, mentored, and voted for me through this nomination. I am ready to get to work bringing in new voices and energy to the party and building on our previous successes. I am looking forward to having a strong NDP voice in Ottawa again.”

The Nanaimo-Ladysmith NDP Electoral District Association would like to thank Gwen O'Mahony, Shaye Anderson, and Dana Thorne for their hard work campaigning as contestants for the nomination.
